Born in Charlotte, North Carolina, Gordon grew up in Chicago, the center of the blues world. He began playing guitar when he was nine and within three years was performing in bars. “When I was a teenager in Chicago, I was lucky enough to be around Willie Dixon, Muddy Waters, Luther Allison, Hound Dog Taylor and so many others. They planted the seed inside of me to always want to play the blues.”
Since moving to Los Angeles in 1985, Gordon has recorded 14 CDs and 1 live DVD. He toured the world and gained a worldwide reputation, being particularly well known in Europe. He was one of 50 guitarists picked by Eric Clapton (who was very impressed after hearing one of his CDs) to perform at the Crossroads Guitar  Festival, sharing the bill with such greats as Santana, Jeff Beck, B.B. King and Buddy Guy.
2009 Jay won Guitar Player of the year at the 5th Annual South Bay Music Awards. 2010 Jay has now recorded a great ROCK CD.

SHARON
BASS GUITAR - VOCALS

She plays Fender Bass Guitars (her favorite is a 1972 P Bass).
She has used Ampeg Amplifiers exclusively for over 25 years,
and she believes there is no better bass amplifier made.
In her words  "Ampeg Is The Bomb, it's simply the best"

Sharon has been involved in music all of her life. Starting at the age of nine she has played many instruments - violin, guitar, piano and her main instrument bass guitar. For more than twenty five years her charismatic bass playing and vocals have added to the originality of the bands she has played in. Sharon has earned a reputation over the years and is respected in many different fields of music by her peers. From clubs to arenas and concert halls, along with recording in countless studios. She definitely knows what it takes to make a commitment in music. She has also recorded radio commercials along with sound tracks.
She won Bass Player of the year at the 5th Annual South Bay Music Awards 4/27 09. She is now playing & singing with world famous, five time award winning blues/rock guitarist Jay Gordon who has 14 CD's to his credit, Sharon has played and sang on four of his CD's.
The current Cd is "Blues Venom - No Cure" which is being played on over 150 radio stations
all over the world. She will be touring Europe this summer with Jay Gordon.
She also did a remake in 2009 of the classic rock song "White Rabbit". This was the last recording done with Donnell Cameron at the famous Westbeach recording studio in Hollywood Ca, famous for recording punk rock groups, such as Bad religion, NOFX, Rancid, Pennywise and more
